A beautiful young girl gave me this verse tonight at youth as an encouragement. Man It Helped!
It's crazy that no matter how young you are God will still use you to speak to people.
Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?”
“Nothing,” they answered.
He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors ;and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.”
This verse has been an eye opener because, God has asked me to go on this mission with nothing in my pockets. & He says to not worry because I've got Him as my protector. I think the sword was also a reminder to bring my Bible and actually Read it!!! HAHA!
